Get a Library Card

Requirements for getting a library card.

Log In to Your Record

Review materials checked out on your library card and items on reserve; how to renew materials remotely. (Note: a PIN is needed to use these services).

Borrow from the Library

Request materials; set up e-mail alerts for overdue and pick-up notification; information about limits, and loan periods for library materials; schedule of fees for overdue and lost materials and library cards.

Renew Items

How to renew items before they are overdue by phone or via the Library’s Web site.

Request Items

Books, videos, DVDs, CDs, audiocassettes, etc. found in the catalog may be requested and held for pick-up.

Reserve a Computer

Sign up for an Internet or Internet/Word processing computer at any library location (up to 48 hours in advance).

Use Reference Materials in the Library

A wide variety of materials may be requested at Paging and Reference Desks for use within the Library (these are “Reference” or LIBRARY USE ONLY items). Acceptable forms of identification are required for use of these materials.

WiFi Access

Public wireless network access (WiFi) is currently available at the Main Library (in all public areas) and at most branch libraries.
